What’s New

The Wolf Mountain staff spent the summer installing a new triple chair. The Wolf Lair triple chair lift is located at the base of the mountain next to the Wolfdeedo Chair. This new lift serves the Wolf Lair SportsPark and assures speedy access, 3 minutes 47 seconds to be exact, to the Wolf Lair Terrain Park. Wolf Lair triple chair lift increases capacity by approximately 1650 skiers/boarders per hour, bringing total lift capacity to 3500 riders per hour. In addition to servicing the park, this chair will expand our beginner ski terrain by 15%.

Mountain Learning Center: Beginners can learn on some of the best teaching terrain in the state. Our programs include the Nordic Wolves Freeride program, After School program,  Wolf Tracks “Get On Board” Ski/Ride Special, Early Season Specials, Family Lessons, Youth and Adult Lessons, Young Child Lessons and Private lessons. With the additions of a Yurt we can comfortably accommodate a growing number of students.

Continuing the tradition with a second decade of warm hospitality, the Snowberry Inn Bed & Breakfast is now under new ownership, Pat and Sherrie Dohrer. Our cozy yet spacious cabin is located in the beautiful Ogden Valley on the east side of the Wasatch Mountain Range – home to Powder Mountain, Wolf Mountain and Snowbasin, proud host of the 2002 Winter Olympic Downhill Competitive Events and the Annual Ogden Valley Balloon Festival in Eden.

With 5,500 acres covering three mountains, Powder Mountain adds up to the most skiable terrain in the US.  

With this much space, you won't share any of the 113 runs with a crowd. Only Mother Nature makes snow at Powder Mountain.  With 500 inches each year, why bother with artificial snow?  Besides great powder, real snow makes beautifully groomed corduroy. So you just came back from the Ogden Valley Balloon Festival and you're ready to share your photos.

We have a couple of ways which you can do it.

1. Best Way -Download Picasa .  If you have a bunch of great photos and you want to share them with us and with other people, you can use one of the free file sharing services on the web.  We like Picasa the best because it's easy to use and let's you share your photos on the web or by email to your friends.  OgdenValleyMagazine.com recommends that you download Picasa and create a free account at Picasa Web to upload your photo galleries there.  Once you upload your gallery you can send us the address of your gallery and we'll take care of the rest.
2. Other Great Way - You can also use Flicker to upload photo galleries to share.
