Wolf Creek Resort - Gallery Space
August 1st - September 30th, 2007

The riddle asks, as if one knew,
What color to paint the sun and wind:

Farm Patterns, Oil, Songer

The sun rose and the wind blew.

The answer a primary view-
How many shadings in a pun
The riddle asks. As if one knew.

One on schedule, one impromptu,
One that makes, one that rends:
The sun arose, the wind so blue.

Or does departure have a hue?
Does recurrence have an end?
The riddle asks us. If one knew

You'd gaze until they rose in you
Though both can burn, and even blind:
The sun's rays and the wind's brew.

Weatherbeaten, brush askew,
Daub a sky with trembling hands
The riddle asks, as if anew
The sun rose, and the wind blew.

Plein Air by C.G Macdonald

The focus of the current Wilkerson Fine Art Exhibit at Wolf Creek Gallery Space is "Plein Air of the Ogden Valley."

En plien air is a French expression which means "in the open air," and is used to describe the act of painting in an outside environment rather than indoors.   The story a plein air artist tells in their art is a story of the light, the sounds, the color, the wind or soft breeze, the energy, the season.  The essence captured is not with just sight alone, but with all the senses.  The combination of this style of painting with the spectacular Ogden Valley has brought forth an exhibit that will delight your senses.  Truly a must see Exhibit with a portion of the proceeds to benefit charity.

Kris Wilkerson, owner and consultant is motivated by her desire to enrich lives through art.  She has found that connection and expression through art lifts the human spirit and in that lifted state a ripple effect occurs.  The mission of Wilkerson Fine Art & Consulting is to provide a forum for local artists to connect to the community, and to assist the community in living a rich, well-considered life through original artwork.

Wilkerson Fine Art & Consulting invites you to take time to experience and embrace life enriched through art.

The exhibit will run through September 30, 2007.  Viewing hours are from 9 a.m. - 7 p.m. daily.  All items are for sale and interested parties should contact Kris Wilkerson at (801) 745-9557 or via email at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
