Thursay, June 4th, 2009, Mark your calendar for a New Fine Art Gallery opening in Ogden. Tami, owner of Artists & Heirlooms and Kris, owner of Wilkerson Fine Art were both looking for a partner to elevate spaces through art and low and behold each found what they were looking for!  “I had wanted to expand our gallery into Ogden and the space that Artists & Heirlooms had available was perfect,” said Kris Wilkerson.

Tami Crowley, owner of Artists & Heirlooms and Kris Wilkerson, owner of Wilkerson Fine Art have joined forces to create the Crowley Wilkerson Fine Art Galleries, Partners in Elevated Spaces.  “At Artists & Heirlooms, we had been looking to make some changes in the gallery with a desire to create a space that rivals galleries in Salt Lake City and Park City. I first approached Kris for some consulting with the idea of partnering with us in some larger shows. We really clicked with our ideas and passions and a long term partnership emerged. This partnership feels natural and should benefit the artists as well as the people of Ogden as we continue our fast growing pace”, shared Tami Crowley.

The Upper Galleries will be called Elevated Spaces because the partners have joined forces to uplift and enrich lives through the elevated space created by the art. The top floor will be group shows and the 2nd floor will be featured artists or themed exhibits.

The Grand Opening of the Crowley Wilkerson Fine Art Galleries will be Thursday, June 4th from 4 – 7PM in the upper galleries of Artists & Heirlooms, 115 Historic 25th St. in Ogden, Utah 84401.  A ribbon cutting ceremony wimage001ill take place at 5PM that evening.

June’s featured artist is Eric Zschiesche of Ogden.   Eric is one of Utah’s most expressive plein air painters using color

and movement to portray scenes and images masterfully. Eric paints in a wide range of styles, mediums and topics

such as floral and figurative in acrylic and oils, and his work ranges from representational to impressionistic, to abstract.

Of Special Note: Eric is the featured artist at this year’s 6th Annual Ogden Arts Festival, picked by the festival committee

during last year’s plein air competition for his portrayal of a beautiful cityscape reminiscent of downtown Ogden.
