Can this be real? Once again we are given an awesome combination of things that make living in this valley so special. Perfect summer evening weather, beautiful rose sunset with full moon rising, a great group of friends and visitors, Wolf Mountain hospitality and of course, Harry Lee & The Back Alley Blues Band .
If you haven't been to Wolf Mountain for the Summer Music Series yet, you're really, really, really missing out. Here's a short list of what you've missed; Tad Calcara & the New Deal Swing Band, The Utah Symphony, and Harry Lee & Band. So that means you only have three more chances to check out what promises to be one of the best up and coming venues for music in the Ogden Valley.
So mark your calendar this time and don'miss:
August 11: Jon Schmidt, $20 per car load.
August 25: Eric Heatherly and Tara Gess, $20 per car load.
Sept. 1: The Joe Muscolino Band, $20 per car load.

Back to Saturday night's performance. One of the coolest things about Harry Lee is that they hand out harmonicas to just about anyone who wants one. Not only does Harry blow a mean harp, but he has half the mountain full of folks backing him up. I actually saw a 2 year old trying to give him a run for his money though.

Another treat was when Harry and the sax player walked out into the audience and did dueling harp and sax solos. Almost everyone got a chance to get up close and personal with these exceptional blues players. One song of special note was when Harry and crew busted into "Brick House" just as a crimson full moon was rising behind them. It's hard to capture the entire moment in a photo, but we tried.
Wolf Mountain also provides face painting for kids and a complete food and beverage offering from Roosters Brewing Company and Restaurant in Ogden . Or you can do like we did and pack a picnic and blanket and hit the hill.
Hope to see you at the next one!!!
