Fed up with the lack of places to eat here in Ogden Valley? Hungry
for Mexi? You can find great restaurants almost anywhere in the
world, but what about here? Craig Bonham, owner of Harley and Bucks,
has the answer to these questions.
The
rumors are true; there's new Mexican food coming to the Valley, and
nothing can quite compare to your favorite Mexican restaurant. As an
athlete, I always have a big appetite, and love food that tastes
great and is also nutritional. Having lived all over the world, I
have developed a love of a variety of foods. I have tasted cuisine
from many nations, as my family and I have traveled as far as Tokyo
and Thailand. Of all the food in the world, one of my favorites is
Mexican. You could give me the finest sushi in the world and I'd
still prefer rolled up burritos and a big scoop of guacamole. When I
lived in Arizona my favorite restaurant was Valle Luna. Their
oven-toasted quesadilla was as big as a pizza and to die for. In
Japan I loved eating at La Jolla. I was addicted to their perfectly
seasoned tortilla chips and salsa. I haven't decided on my favorite
restaurant here in Utah yet. However, I do love Harley and Bucks in
Eden. Every time I dine there I try something new and I have always
been more than satisfied with my food.
I recently spoke with Craig
Bonham about his new restaurant, Carlos and Harley's, coming this
fall. It will specialize in fresh Tex-Mex and California style
Mexican cuisine. The menu will include fajitas, three different types
of salsas, fresh seafood, tamales, and twelve margarita varieties. I
am eager to dine at the new Carlos and Harley's. This could be one
of my new favorite restaurants, and it could be yours too.
