Eden, Utah
If you missed this
weekend's First Annual Art Show and Sale, have no fear. You will have one more
chance to see the extraordinary showcase of local artwork next
Saturday December 8 from 10 AM - 4 PM in Eden.
A tender blanket of snow
graced the Valley this morning as local artists and artisans gathered
in Eden at the Double Happiness Yoga Studio to begin a day of
celebrating local artistic talent.
Despite the season's
first snowfall, numerous Valley residents flocked to the event in
search of locally crafted goods for the holiday season.
"This is
fantastic! I am excited because today I bought many of my Christmas
gifts without having to leave the Valley. I'm especially happy to
buy and support local artists. I will be here every year from now
on," stated East Huntsville resident Debbra Wheatley.

Local artists were
in attendance to greet visitors throughout the day, including painter
and jewelry creator Alison Benjamin (www.benjali.com)
and painter Susan Sunda. In addition to holiday note cards and
paintings of all shapes and sizes, art in the edible form was also
displayed.
"It's a thirty
year family tradition," remarked Marsha Rasmussen of Eden about her
Mountain Granola. If you have cravings for that perfect, homemade
midnight snack, you will find it with this hearty winter mix.
Next Saturday
December 8th
the doors will once again open between 10 AM and 4 PM at Marsha
Rasmussen's Double Happiness Yoga Studio at 1778 North 6250 East in
Eden.
Come see for yourself the
authentic and colorful artwork of this Valley's passionate
artisans. Buying locally not only saves time and resources but also
helps to support the unique creativity and skills of our Valley's
artists.
