The team at Wolf Mountain opened its doors and runs this weekend and began the winter season with a customer appreciation day where everyone skiied for free!

"Wolf Mountain capitalized on a seasonal cold front to make
some snow and offer some pretty good skiing and riding over Thanksgiving
weekend. We are excited to get open. We had over 300 skiers and riders
enjoying the snow on opening day! The park crew was hard at work opening six
rails and boxes and will bring more on as weather and snowmaking permits! I
got out early and made some turns myself. The quality of the snow surface
was excellent given the weather patterns we have been in. This is our second
consecutive November opening thanks to our snowmaking system. We are
watching closely and are hoping for more terrain by this weekend."

An anxious yet patient crew were there right at 9am to catch the first
runs of the day. Wolf Creek's general manager Bill Cox was on hand and
took one of the first lifts up to make sure it was a go, and it was.
Todd Stuart and the rest of the Ski Patrol crew worked a few last
minute details and then gave it a go for the start of what should be an
exciting new year for Wolf Mountain.
