Snowbasin had yet another great day of music, outdoor activities and this time we had a treat with a rescue bird exhibit by Patti Richards. Patti had three amazing owls, all of them are under her care and rehabilitation program. It was almost surreal to be sitting with the fine friends and folks on the deck of Earl's Lodge, listening to a variety of jazz standards and staring eye to eye with a flamulated owl that was the size of a baseball.

Wolf Mountain started off their summer season of entertainment with a great performance by Tad Calcara & the New Deal Swing Band. Melissa Pace also accompanied the band as a singer on a number of songs.

Can you believe it!! There's actually outdoor dining, live music, good food, cold beer, fish tacos and great sunsets in the Ogden Valley. A big thanks goes out to Craig Bonham for sticking to it and turning the Eden General Store into a first class joint.

Shaky Trade rocked the house and opened the 2007 Summer Season at Snowbasin.
After an awesome Snowbasin brunch and then a great adventure down Snowbasin's mountain biking trails, we were treated to a soulful performance by Ogden's Shaky Trade.
The band's roster includes Greg Shaw on bass, Simon Crompton - guitar, Michael Wong - drums, Chris Clemons - trumpet/vocals, Billy Bommer Jr. - sax/vocals. One thing you can say about Shaky Trade is they're TIGHT. Great solos and a great mix had some of us wondering why these guys aren't playing the big time.
