powmow_p1010747.jpgThese are the days that dreams are made of.  Wednesday we had a slow start but I guess that really doesn't matter when you're going to Powder Mountain.  The hush, the quiet, where were all the people???  Having been there last Saturday, what might have been the biggest day in Pow Mow's history, the contrast was surreal.  We started the day of with a couple of runs back to the bus stop and can only tell you that it was dreamy.  Creamy windblown drifts, sure there were some mixed spots but the visibility was great and we were able to draw some pretty sweet lines back down to the road.

wolfmountain_1-15-08.jpgThe conditions were awesome today at Wolf Mountain. It snowed for about an hour in the morning and then the skies cleared and the skiing was great. Also, The Wolf's Lair Park is epic! They have 6 boxes and rails and a few jumps. Also it has it's very own chair lift which is extremely convenient. But who cares what i have to say, get up there and check it out. You won't regret it.

Claudia Schnieder at Pow Mow Grom FestPowder Mountain Grom Fest was a blast!!  Special thanks to Dave Jessup and crew as they put on a great event so that the little guys and gals could strut their stuff.  And that's what they did.  There were some blazing runs coming through the downhill race and quite a number of jumps, rail slides and even splits at the park event.

Monday was incredible.  We've been dumped on for days.  Shovel, plow, shovel, plow and dreaming of more POW.  Can this be real.  The skies have parted and the sun is shining through for one of the dreamiest powder days ever.  The fact that it was a sleepy old Monday even made it more special as we tracked endless turns of pure untouched powder all day long.
